Bali, here we come!
You have chosen an unforgettable trip to Bali with DEVINUS. To make sure you are completely ready for this adventure, we created this handy checklist for you. After all, traveling abroad can raise many questions, but with DEVINUS you don't have to worry about anything! We make sure you travel fully prepared, without forgetting the important things. To help you with that, we have put together a handy information guide. Here is some general information!
First and foremost
Vaccinations
There are no mandatory vaccinations for Bali. You are free to make your own choice in this regard. We stay in very good to luxury accommodations with filtered and sterilized water where the food is freshly prepared with a high degree of hygiene. Should you still need medical attention, health care in Bali is good, although of course we hope that it is not necessary!
Visa and extensions
A visa is required for travel to Bali. You can pay for this visa on the spot at the airport in Denpasar in cash in euros (€30) or by credit card. The visa is valid for 30 days. Should you wish to stay longer, you will need to apply for a new visa.
Have flight booked by DEVINUS?
Did you book your flight through DEVINUS? Then both the booking and the check-in will be arranged by DEVINUS, for which we need a copy of your passport. You can easily send this to us with a photo via WhatsApp. Only after DEVINUS has received the amount of the flight on account number NL40INGB0678465703 Attn: DEVINUS, specifying the flight and destination country, the airline ticket will be ordered. This will be recorded by phone and by mail.
3 weeks before departure
Three weeks before departure, you will receive a final information list from us with all the details.
2 weeks before departure
Two weeks before departure we will create a Whatsapp group app. Here you can ask any questions and easily keep in touch with the group, for example to find each other upon arrival at Schiphol Airport. The group app is also useful to share travel photos and information with each other, but participation is of course entirely voluntary.
Day before departure
Flight booked by DEVINUS?
Did you book your flight through DEVINUS? Then you will first receive your ticket via e-mail and 24 hours before departure we will send you your boarding pass via email. You should print these out yourself. In doing so, it is also convenient to have this at your fingertips on your phone.
Day of departure
Departure from Schiphol
Our distant travels always depart from Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam. You will easily recognize us by the "DEVINUS SPIRITUAL TRAVEL" welcome sign which will be held up by Saskia, Simone or Sylvia. We will give you details in advance about the terminal and the airline we fly with.
Be at the airport 3 hours before departure.
Don't forget:

Arrival
Arrival in Bali
Upon arrival in Denpasar, cabs are waiting to take us to the authentic north of Bali, a 2.5 to 3.5 hour drive depending on traffic. In between, we will stop at a supermarket for a bathroom break. Upon arrival at the villas, a welcome dinner will be waiting for you and you can take a refreshing dip in the pool.
Stay
Care and excursions
During our trip to Bali, we stay on a full board basis. This means that all meals are included, as well as water, coffee, tea and fresh fruit juices. Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are at your own expense. On the last day in Ubud, only breakfast is included and you have the freedom to spend the day as you wish. At 19.30 we will then depart for the airport in Denpasar.
As for excursions and transfers, these are included, as listed on our website, with the exception of optional excursions such as snorkeling (€65 including transfer, lunch and snorkeling equipment) and dolphin spotting (€10). During the trip we will see who is interested and plan the day and time by mutual agreement.

Travel papers
- Bank card / credit card, set it to world card. Normally this is set to Europe, but through your own bank you can set this to 'world'.
- Cash. Balinese money (IRP) you can withdraw at the airport or in the village itself
- Possible medical passport (vaccinations)
- Passport, this one still needs at least Be valid for 6 months after the trip. And should also have 2 blank pages (for stamps).

Clothing and accessories
- Because of the cab, you can only one large suitcase carry and a small backpack
- Hat or cap
- A world plug for your hair dryer or phone charger is not necessary. Bali has the same plugs as the Netherlands
- Water shoes
- T shirt with short sleeve for sarong
- Sarong, you can also buy locally at the beach or in the stores
- Beach towel
- Long pants, vest and sweater this and possibly put on when you leave. Because of the pleasant temperature in the evening, long pants are really not necessary.
- Gym shoe or hiking shoe also possibly put on at departure
- Backpack
- Sunglasses
- Swimwear
